It was worth the long working hours, to be exact, 35 hours of penciling, inking, scanning, and digitilizaing this episode of Mission:Moon.

It’s a Sci-Fi tale following the events (before and after) the fall of the moon on earth, the first two episodes had been published by Lebanese comics organization SAMANDAL
The first two episodes played as a prologue, the first one was sort of funny catching the responses of everyone on the event of the moon fall, on the second episode it turned to be very dramatic, telling the events two days before the disaster, Episodes played as a teaser showing prophecies told by an African witch about the fall of the man, those prophecies sought by an underground secret organization (for some reason).
And now for Episode 3, where the story REALLY begins, the tale jumps up to the future, 20 years later to be exact, and we follow the life of Hilal Tebras (or as you might know him from Episode 2: The boy with no arms), I’ve finished the first three pages so far, they look great, but I do not feel to publish it until I finish more pages, say, 4 more maybe?
But I will give you a little treat on what’s to come in this episode; Hilal wants arms with the help of the same organization that knew about the prophecy (about him), he is being kept in a facility waiting for the operation, locked and watched, then there is a side story of a potential terrorist and an agent chick who was assigned to follow that mysterious person. NOW! I just thought of a little crazy thing about the Agent and the terrorist, let’s say, it’s going to be a “blender” thing, I won’t tell now, I will let you see when all the pages are ready. Just wait, please!
I’m very excited about this episode, It took so much time just to sit down and do it, and it was really tiring! (maybe I’m getting lazy), but to let you know, I did not sleep since last night, I’m still up and kicking, having tons of coffee to stay awake, many friends called and want to go out, especially that it is a holiday (for Eid) now. So I will go out later on to keep busy and prevent myself from crashing down and ruining my plan to fix my sleeping disorder! wish me luck.
So, wait for Episode 3 soon, I will post it in the comics page when it’s done, if you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know, I’m very open to new ideas, and I would mention your name in the credits.

Layering colors to achieve the 3-D look
I was messing around with pencil colors this morning, I started this drawing with two colors: Orange and Blue then a friend on Facebook suggested I shall make it into a (3D’ish) look by adding a layer of Greens, so I did, and I like the result.

2- You would close your eyes, take a breath, then release a long sigh “Oh! March Jacobs!” You would moan.
