Associated Press: In Hawaii, a terrifying combination of strong winds and brush fires created this “fire tornado.” State officials captured this video last week of a fire caught up in a swirling twister on the Big Island. (Aug. 27)
It is both beautiful and terrifying to watch this big fire tornado!

I love everything about Gene Kelly, he is a fun spirit to watch, just to follow his dancing steps make you want to jump off your chair and start tapping off the floor, he makes it seem awfully easy, while the truth is it took him lots of time to do his choreography for himself and his co-dancers in the films he did.

Amman Streets at night…

So as posted before about my new Sony Bloggie, I’m now excited to try all kinds of different things with it, this small project was shot in 30 minutes driving around the streets of Amman then edited to be fast and added one of my favorite songs (Telepopmusik – Breathe).
The choice of the song is metaphorical, as I believe that we – in Amman – need to breathe a little, life is getting its pressure on us, prices are raising everyday a little bit more, no jobs, and certainly the general attitude is becoming more aggressive and disturbingly annoying, so it is a small message for everyone to try to “breathe” whenever they can.

Still, people find it easier for the topic to be visual, that’s why most people do not read the book but wait for its film release (which always comes out terrible).

… And there was “YouTube”!

Alejandro Jodorowsky, a director that I did not come across before watching “The Holy Mountain” and now I am certain that I do not want to cross his path a lot.

I can not provide a professional film critique as I never took film studies, but as an aware member of the audience and perhaps of the target audience of this film I would say that I did not get it and it left me feeling dumb for a whole day.

Nothing in particular happened to inspire this one but something exploded inside of me and I went on an inking rant nonstop… No pencils, no drafts, no digital painting, only a pen!

And I gladly saw the birth of a new psychotic character that I instantly fell in love with!

Welcoming…

SUE THE SUICIDAL.

Me, my films and I…

I was always fascinated by “moving pictures”, maybe that had to do with me being attracted to drawing those still frames, reading comics and being addicted to the tube.
But through out the years I’ve watched loads of films: the good ones, the bad ones and the horrible ones, and when I judge these films I use my perspective and criteria to assess and classify films, to classify a film as a good one it has to have an incredible story, fascinating plot and mixed dynamic characters that would develop through out the line of the story, not to forget a kick ass ending (I always despised the happy endings hence Disney) I knew since I was 5 that life does not go the Snow White way, it just does not!
